Financial Resources Screening Tool

"Most cancer patients divide their lives into 'before cancer' and 'after cancer.' A new diagnosis of breast cancer always brings disorganizing waves
of anxiety and fear. As women struggle to master these emotions, reorganize their lives, and reconfigure their finances, it is wonderful to be able to say, 'Call Sense of Security . . . they really will help'. It is the deepest reassurance I can give a woman newly diagnosed with breast cancer. To know that a sturdy group of people stand ready with open hearts and open pocketbooks to help is to know that you are not alone."

Priscilla Ingebrigtsen, retired LCSW
University of Colorado Hospital

The Purple Martini invites you to drink to The Cure!

The Purple Martini, a lounge that raises the bar on nightlife in Colorado, will hold “The Cure” Martini Launch Party on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at the Purple Martini Tabor Center (1200 17th Street, Denver).

The launch party will celebrate the Purple Martini’s partnership with Sense of Security." Click here for your invitation.

The Purple Martini created “The Cure” Martini to benefit the breast cancer patients of Sense of Security.  One dollar of every Cure Martini sold in 2007 will benefit the organization.

“Our slogan is ‘Have a drink for a cause, party for a cure’,” remarked Will Coleman, co-owner of the Purple Martini.  “We commend the important work of this local nonprofit organization.”

“We are excited to have been selected as the beneficiary of this promotion,” stated Nancy Olson, executive director of Sense of Security.  “Not only will it raise the visibility of our organization, but it will also help fund expenses of breast cancer patients.”

The Purple Martini collaborated with Stolichnaya Vodka to create “The Cure” Martini.  The martini is made with Stoli Razberi, Stoli Peachik, Alize Red, cranberry juice, and a splash of Sprite.
