A big THANK YOU to Madisen Thomas and members of BizMiss, a business networking organization for female students at CSU, who hosted a holiday fundraiser December 3rd. Their second annual "Renew Hope for the Holidays" winter gift fair was held at Everyday Joe's Coffee House in downtown Fort Collins.
Featured local vendors included a glass blower, a cupcake connoisseur, and Arbonne International, just to name a few. Unique gifts were available, including ornaments, jewelry, handcrafted scarves and knitwear, and approximately 50 people browsed and bought holiday gifts. Vendors graciously donated a portion of the day's sales, with $200 raised for Sense of Security in cash donations - we truly appreciate these efforts as every dollar counts!

Fitness for a Cause
from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Streets Fitness - 12520 W. 64th Avenue - Arvada
Hosted by Fight Like a Girl, this event utilizes the pledge system, but with a twist! Participants have the opportunity to take part in six 30-minute classes over a 3 hour period, taught by Streets’ expert staff. Fundraise through pledges from family, friends and local businesses – either through a flat donation or on a per class participation basis.
Cost: $10/person – covers cost of trainers, facilities and event t-shirt

"An Evening of Decadent Delights"

SAVE THE DATE - Penny Parker's Evening of Decadent Delights is a night of entertainment and food by Denver's Top Chefs and benefitting Sense of Security. Eight new chefs cooking together at Coohill's, a premiere french restaurant that focuses on fresh ingredients from local Colorado farmers. Nestled into Lower Downtown Denver, the flair and the flavors are reminiscent of Europe.
We will be featuring the chefs of Kelly Liken, Coohill's, Cholon, Trilluim, Charcoal, Opus, Aria, Elway's Downtown and Ambria. Eight courses with wine pairings will be sure to make this a night you won't soon forget.
